\nL’Ajuntament de Tortosa ha nomenat el professor Manuel P\u00e9rez Bonfill (Tortosa, 1926) fill predilecte de la ciutat. Tots els grups municipals van donar el seu suport a aquesta iniciativa recolzada per agents de la societat civil com \u00d2mnium Ebre i altres membres de la Comissi\u00f3 Any Manuel P\u00e9rez Bonfill que dedica tot el 2016 a homenatjar-lo, coincidint amb el seu 90\u00e8 aniversari.<\/p>\n

Membre d’una generaci\u00f3 d’intel\u00b7lectuals que va patir els estralls de la Guerra Civil, P\u00e9rez Bonfill es llicenci\u00e0 en filologia rom\u00e0nica, fou catedr\u00e0tic de literatura a l’Institut Joaquim Bau durant 40 anys i \u00e9s autor de diferents llibres de narrativa com “Carrer de nom\u00e9s un” i “Amb algunes branques d’olivera”. Tamb\u00e9 ha conreat la poesia i ha participat en diferents obres col\u00b7lectives. Va estar vinculat a la revista G\u00e8minis, junt a Gerard Verg\u00e9s i Jes\u00fas Massip, i al grup art\u00edstic Macla 65 amb Frederic Mauri. El 2010 va rebre la Creu de Sant Jordi.  La seva traject\u00f2ria vital i professional est\u00e0 lligada molt estretament a l’Institut Joaquim Bau, on va crear l’aula de teatre per on van passar alumnes com els actors Pere Ponce o S\u00edlvia Sabat\u00e9. Cal destacar tamb\u00e9 la implicaci\u00f3 de P\u00e9rez Bonfill en la vida cultural i social de la ciutat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
