The Honorary Award of Catalan Literature

The Honorary Award of Catalan Literature. Created by Òmnium in 1969, the award is given to a person who, through their Catalan-language literary or scientific output, and because of the importance and exemplarity of their intellectual work, has contributed significantly and continuously to the cultural advancement of the Catalan-speaking countries.

The Catalan writer, Quim Monzó (Barcelona, 1952), is the winner of the 50th the Honorary Award of Catalan Literature.
